Christmas 2011

Christmas Eve "Did you just hear Santa?" The boys eagerly awaited Santa's arrival and Jack was too excited to sleep and stayed up until 9:30 waiting and waiting.

Laughing at Daddy -- wait! Did you hear Santa! Both boys heard Santa and Jack actually saw his sleigh pass by the house.

Jack loves his new Animal Pull Train.

Jack enjoys anything he can push (lawnmower) or pull (this train, his wagon). He also likes his stuffed animals and of course his blankies that he carries everywhere

Playing new Candy Land game with daddy!!

Daddy and Eldon mostly play blocks, bricks and of course Diego and Special Agent Oso.

Astronauts Eldon & Jack in their new spaceship from Santa. Blast off!

2011 was the Christmas From Space! The playroom is decorated with a Space Theme and both boys look great in astronaut suits

Hard at work in our new Art Studio!

As Eldon said "Now we are real artists"

Jack enjoys the paint & markers and Eldon enjoys the paint & of course glue & glitter

"Wow! I guess I WAS on the good list!" - Eldon

"Up Up Up" - Jack (We think he wanted to blast up in the rocket)

Gingerbread house, Christmas morning

The boys worked very hard on this in between playing with the new toys and putting together their rocket.

Reading a favorite Farm book

Grandpa Chuck & Grandma Laurel came to visit the weekend before Christmas.

Grandpa Chuck opens the peanuts from Jack and Eldon

Grandma Laurel, Eldon & Jack try to decide what to open first

Mom and Jack, taking a break from the opening. Jack was the designated Cinnamon Roll eater and ate the tops off of 5 the cinnamon rolls.

Yes we still like to dress up in our Halloween Costumes and then decorate Christmas cookies

Reading about the Farm with our book from Aunty Rhonda

A late Halloween photo! Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Toy Story -- To Infinity And Beyond!

A favorite late-afternoon tradition in December is to dress like Santa's Helpers and dance around the living room to Christmas Music.

Usually Jack will start a parade by handing out instruments to everyone and insisting that we follow him around -- Thanks to our new harmonicas this should be a great parade now!

Santa's Helper Jack, ready to fix any toy with his drill.

Jack enjoys fixing and helping daddy do anything around the house.

Tinker Toys!

Eldon is enjoying his first Tinker Toy set and plays with it every day for the last 2 months. It even went on vacation with us for something to play in the hotel.

Busy playing with our new toys!

It has been quite a month and the boys have enjoyed every minute of all of the holiday preparations -- making gingerbread cookies, after dinner walks to look at the lights around the neighborhood, caroling, crafts every day!

Why wait for sunrise to start sledding!
We made a snowman, went for a slush walk and Eldon made snow angles

Jack enjoyed finding sticks for the arms and Eldon put a carrot in for the nose
